Date Sold 11/27/2022 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 4 issues of Movie Mirror movie magazines. Movie Mirror ("Filmland's Most Beautiful Magazine") was one of the many movie magazines sold to the public. Each issue features a great full color cover of a leading star of the day, plus lots of interior publicity stories about current stars and movies with many black and white images throughout. Also, in every issue are many wonderful vintage ads in black and white, and sometimes the ads can be just as much fun as the original stories and pictures. Of course, some of the ads are from movies that were about to open, and in the early days of eBay, people would remove those full-page ads and auction them by themselves, and they would often sell for $10, $20, or more, just for a single movie ad removed from a magazine just like this! Note that beginning with the July 1935 issue, this magazine combined with "Shadoplay", and the notation "Combined with Shadoplay" was added to the cover under the title "Movie Mirror". Note that the items in this lot are from the 1930s to the 1940s. Measurements: 9" x 11"Note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of each magazine, but no other images. Please know that these magazines are sealed in bags and are ready for shipping, and we cannot answer any questions about them or look through them for you, so please bid (or do not bid) based on the images we have provided. Condition: good. Please note that we briefly attempted to check to see if the magazines are complete and uncut, and we believe that they are.
