An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22") (Learn More) We're In the Money, the 1935 Ray Enright lawyer dizzy blondes screwball comedy ("They love 'em... and leave 'em with a summons!"; about two sexy blondes who are kind of a female Laurel & Hardy, and they are process servers for a lawyer, and they have wacky adventures with a cast of odd characters) starring Joan Blondell, Glenda Farrell, Hugh Herbert, Ross Alexander, Hobart Cavanaugh, Phil Regan, Lionel Stander, and Edward Gargan. Note that Joan Blondell and Glenda Farrell appeared together in "Havana Widows" in 1933, where they played a pair of good-hearted showgirls who get in trouble. They re-teamed for five more movies in 1934 and 1935 (playing different characters, but in the same sorts of situations), all of which were quite popular at the box office! This means the poster was backed onto a paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. Condition: good to very good. The poster had creases, smudges, small tears, pinholes, and some dot stains around the edges, slightly extending into the image, and a much lesser number within the image.
