A 1959 Re-Release Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Angel and the Badman, the 1947 James Edward Grant romantic cowboy western (about an outlaw who is injured and is nursed back to health by a beautiful Quaker girl; he falls in love with her, and he must choose between her way of life and his) starring John Wayne, Gail Russell, Harry Carey Sr., Bruce Cabot, Irene Rich, Lee Dixon, Stephen Grant, Tom Powers, Paul Hurst, John Halloran, and Louis Faust NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has a 3" vertical line of creases and scuff marks in the left half of Wayne's jacket (the creases can be seen on the back of the poster and are somewhat sharp). There is faint scuffing mostly only in the solid-colored areas of the image at center, and there are a few tiny tears in the extreme outer left blank border edge only. The few defects are not very noticeable or distracting when the poster is displayed at a reasonable viewing distance and after paperbacking the poster would look great!
