eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result g061 COONSKIN one-sheet movie poster '75 embarrassing typo on poster! Date Sold 11/22/2005Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Coonskin (also released in the U.S. as "Street-Fight"), the 1975 Ralph Bakshi "mature humor" animated animation cartoon ("This is it folks!"; "From the creator of 'Fritz The Cat' and 'Heavy Traffic' and the producer of 'The Godfather' and 'The Longest Yard'"; "The wild new movie from the writer-director of Fritz the Cat and Heavy Traffic!") featuring the voices of Barry White, Charles Gordone, Scatman Crothers, Philip Michael Thomas, and Richard Paul NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has a snipe over the tagline area under the image. Holding the poster up to the light, one can see that the end of the snipe originally read, "and the producer of 'THE GODFATHER', 'THE LONGEST YARD', and 'THE LONGEST YARD'"! Someone managed to write "THE LONGEST YARD" twice, and no one caught it until AFTER the poster was printed, so they sent out corrective credit snipes to be pasted over this embarrassing typo! I don't know if all the regular posters from this movie had this typo, or if they reprinted correct posters, and only a few made it out with the mistake. If I owned this poster, I would have the snipe professionally removed, so I could enjoy the original typo (and see if my friends would see it right off when I showed it to them)! Condition: good.
