A Society Scandal, the 1924 Allan Dwan silent family relationship divorce romantic comedy melodrama ("From the play 'The Laughing Lady' by Alfred Sutro"; about a neglected society wife who tries to help one of her husband's associates and he thinks they are having an affair and divorces her; she blames his divorce lawyer and accuses the lawyer of attacking her, which ruins his career, and she regrets what she did and confesses, and they end up falling in love!) starring Gloria Swanson, Rod La Rocque, Ricardo Cortez, Allan Simpson, Ida Waterman, and Thelma Converse. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
