South of Caliente, the 1951 William Witney California/Mexico singing cowboy western musical ("Roy makes the thrills fly!"; "When racketeers use outlaw violence to grab the great Pan-American sweepstakes!"; "Here's big time Rogers adventure... Jam-packed with danger, suspense and excitement- crammed racing thrills") starring Roy Rogers ("King of the Cowboys"), Trigger ("Smartest Horse in the Movies!"), Dale Evans, Pinky Lee, Douglas Fowley, Charlita (a Hispanic actress born in Massachusetts who made a limited number of appearances in movies in the 1950s, and quickly switched to TV, where she made additional appearances in the 1950s and 1960s), Pat Brady, the Roy Rogers Riders, and Willie Best (as was standard at this time, Best was unbilled on the posters, even though just about everyone else of any note was billed)
