An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Campaign Book (measures 9 1/2" x 12 3/4" [24 x 32 cm]; 48 pages) (Learn More) The Second Famous 40 Paramount Pictures, the 1924 campaign book featuring images and information about upcoming releases for the 40 Paramount movies that were intended to be released between February and July of 1925 including: Madame Sans Gene, Thunder Herd, None But the Brave, Old Home Week, Maori of the South Seas ("Two years in the making on the island of Sabaii by Robert Flaherty", which was released as "Come to Moana" the following year), and many, many more! All of the images are two-color, but many are quite striking and there are some great films included (see our images). Note that Paramount was so much the leading studio at this time, that it wasn't enough for them to solely do an annual yearbook, but they also did "update" books like this a couple times a year (in this case, they did one in the Spring and Summer, and another later in the year, which was this one). Condition: good to very good. The covers are on a different paper stock and slightly larger than the interior pages, and there were three staples holding everything together, and they are no longer present. There are smudges on the covers, and some creases and tears on parts of the borders. The interior pages have tiny rust marks where the staples were, but are otherwise in nice condition!
