An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Argentinean Movie Poster (measures 29 1/4" x 43 1/4") (Learn More)

Gran Show de la Risa (literally translates to "Great Laughter Show"), the circa 1950s Argentinean comedy compilation featuring comedy shorts from Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, Laurel & Hardy, and Agapito! We don't know if this compilation movie was solely released in Argentina, or if it was also released in other countries under different names. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good. The poster had creases and tears in the left of the bottom horizontal foldline and darkening in the right edge in the bottom of the right border. It had other minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but the restorer left alone the edge of the right blank border, likely rightfully assuming it will not show when the poster is framed.
