Originally titled JOB, the company was renamed in the 1870s to Le Nil after the Nile river in Egypt, and adopted the tagline "Je Ne Fume Que Le Nil" ("I only smoke The Nile"). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had fine surface paper loss and creases on parts of the folds, with many creases scattered in the left 10" of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
