The Danger Rider, the 1928 Henry MacRae silent romantic action adventure cowboy western ("Big Gibson thrills"; "There's only one Hoot Gibson"; "with beautiful Eugenia Gilbert"; "Wanted for robbery 'Tuscan Joe' 6 feet one inch, dark complexion. Travels like a lone wolf. Hard boiled. Quick on the trigger. Recently released from jail. Report all the information to 'The Danger Rider'"; "Story by Wynn James and Arthur Statter") starring Hoot Gibson ("King of All Western Stars with His 50 Wild Riding Cowboys"), Eugenia Gilbert, B. Reeves Eason, Monte Montague, King Zany, Frank Beale, and Milla Devenport. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!

Condition: good to very good, NO CUTS. There is a 3" tear at the bottom center of all pages and a 2" tear at the top center of all pages.
