An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Belgian Movie Poster (measures 15" x 22") (Learn More) a 1950s Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis Belgian stock poster. Note that this is a Belgian "stock" poster created by Paramount Pictures for use by Belgian theaters showing their 1950s Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis movies. Theaters would order this poster, which had a large blank area at center. Sometimes the studio would overprint the stock poster with the title of a specific movie, and sometimes they were sent a series of paper snipes with the titles of specific entries of the series, so the theater could paste in each snipe as needed, thus getting many posters for the price of one. Sometimes stock posters are found with blank snipe areas. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was folded down the middle and there were some creases and tiny tears on that fold. There were some creases, smudges, and tiny tears around the edges of the poster and some smudges in the background areas. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
