Note that Alfred Hitchcock used the two taglines "The birds is coming!" and "The birds is here!" on several different types of advertising for this movie, no doubt because he thought it was funny that while it is technically grammatically correct when referring to the movie, they "sound wrong"! The poster has faded slightly with age and there are creases scattered throughout. There are several pairs of staple holes and pin holes around the edges of the poster with some enlarged or with small tears from rough removal. There is tiny paper loss at the bottom crossfold and there are some tiny areas of paper loss along the bottom horizontal fold. There are a few light stains and smudges scattered throughout the poster, but they are not very noticeable or distracting. This is the sort of poster that responds really well to professional restoration. The creasing can be removed during the linenbacking process, after which the poster will look fantastic (although, I think most collectors could happily display this Hitchcock classic poster on their wall just as it is!).
