An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Peggy of The Secret Service, the 1925 J.P. McGowan silent female spy espionage crime adventure romantic comedy (about a beautiful female secret agent who is assigned to recover a sheik's stolen jewels, and they were stolen by his brother, and the secret agent poses as one of his harem girls to recover them!) starring Peggy O'Day (in the title role; billed as "The Thrill Girl"), Eddie Phillips, William Ryno, C.L. Sherwood, and Dan Peterson. Note that star Peggy O'Day is called "The Thrill Girl", and made 34 movies in the early 1920s, and most were westerns, but we don't know where her nickname came from! If anyone knows more about her, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was never machine folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing, but a very few were left unfolded. An unfolded poster from before 1980 is almost always far more difficult to find than a folded poster of the same title, and finding unfolded posters in excellent condition is even more difficult! Condition: very good. Note that the poster has smudges and a very few creases around the edges. Otherwise, the poster is in excellent condition, especially considering its age. But the poster is somewhat fragile, and will need to be sent flat (if someone tried to roll it, it would likely crack, but it is not brittle, and is basically in quite nice condition compared to half-sheets of this vintage).
