In a murder-mystery that packs as big a punch as the NEW Dick Powell!"; "Haunted by a lovely face... hunted for another's crime!"; "Two-Fisted, hardboiled terrific!"; adapted from the novel 'Farewell, My Lovely' by Raymond Chandler) starring Dick Powell (as Philip Marlowe), Claire Trevor (as Velma Valento), Anne Shirley (as Ann Grayle), Otto Kruger, Mike Mazurki (as Moose Malloy), Miles Mander, Douglas Walton, Don Douglas, Ernie Adams, and Dewey Robinson. The movie was intended to be released as "Farewell, My Lovely", the name of the source novel, but it was changed at the last minute.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had minor wear on the foldlines, with some tiny dots of surface paper loss in the bottom foldline. It had some tiny stains scattered in the upper third of the right edge of the right blank border and the entire poster had darkened somewhat. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting.
