Strayer politics family relationship romantic comedy ("He learns all the tricks of politics... and a few The Wife don't like!"; "The scream of the screen at his boisterous best!"; "The hilarious hi-jinks of a would-be big shot!") starring Leon Errol, Elisabeth Risdon, Edwin Maxwell, Emory Parnell, Charles Halton, Paul Harvey, Charlotte Wynters, Ruth Lee, and Lawrence Tierney. Note that this movie was a sequel of sorts to the popular "Mexican Spitfire" series. Star Lupe Velez had committed suicide the year before, but Leon Errol and Elisabeth Risdon had played backup to her in those movies as a married couple, and this movie is sort of a "spin-off", with them reprising their roles (although their characters are slightly changed, befitting their rise to star status). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor wear on the folds. It had pinholes and some smudges around the edges, with some creases scattered down the left. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that the restorer left a tiny bit of excess linen around all four sides of the poster (they left a small border in order to protect the poster from handling damage, but they did not leave a larger border, to allow it to more easily fit in a frame).
