An Original Vintage Theatrical Kraftbacked Tri-Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81") (Learn More) Fiesta, the 1941 Le Roy Prinz south-of-the-border Mexico City romantic singing-and-dancing musical comedy (produced by Hal Roach; "It's terrific! It's Technicolorful, it's gay!"; "Glorious Color!"; "Glorious Songs!"; "Glorious Girls!"; "A Glorious FEATURE in Technicolor") starring Anne Ayars, Jorge Negrete, Armida, George Givot, Antonio Moreno, Nick Moro, and "a host of native Mexican singing and dancing artists". Note that this type of film was known as a "streamliner", which was between a short and a feature in length (usually running from 42 to 47 minutes). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Also note that this poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great! Finally, note this three-sheet poster was tri-folded only (which means there is one less vertical machine fold than usual). This means the poster has a significantly lesser number of folds than with three-sheets folded in the "regular" way, which is nice! Tri-folded three-sheets need to be sent in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 13" x 30", so they cost more to send than regularly folded three-sheets, especially if they are sent to non-U.S. addresses. Condition: fair to good. There is some creasing and discoloration throughout the poster from the kraftbacking. There are areas of separation and small paper loss along the foldlines.
