An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Stage Play Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More)

Camille, the 1910s stage play production (based on the 1912 French film which was an adaption of the novel by Alexandre Dumas fils; "Sarah Bernhardt's Version of Camille"; "The masterpiece of all dramas"; "Week of April 4") starring Ann Kingsley (in the title role as Camille), and Al Luttringer (as Armand Duval). Note that this play did not feature Sarah Bernhardt who was the star of the 1912 film Camille, but it was based on that adaption, and the people who produced the stage play deceptively advertised it as "Sarah Bernhardt's version of Camille".

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that any posters from this very early Sarah Bernhardt movie are extremely rare, and the few that survive sell for lots of money. This window card was made by a local theater, and we would think it is extremely likely it is from 1912, but we can't guarantee that. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded.

Condition: good. There is darkening around the edges. There is 2" of separation in the center of the bottom border and some tiny paper loss in the top blank border.
