An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (11x14; LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Call of the Flesh, the 1930 Charles Brabin romantic opera musical ("A Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer All-Talking Picture"; "Story by Dorothy Farnum"; "Dialogue by John Colton"; a wild story of an opera singer who is told that he can't be truly great unless his heart is broken, and he falls in love with a beautiful girl from a convent who wants to be a nun, and he runs off with her, but realizes their romance is doomed, and he sadly ends their romance) starring Ramon Novarro, Dorothy Jordan, Renee Adoree, Nance O'Neil, and Ernest Torrence. Note that this was Renee Adoree's final movie, and there is a sequence where she dances the tango with Novarro! She retired after falling ill with tuberculosis, passing away in 1933 at the age of 35.
