An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81") (Learn More)

Home in Oklahoma, the 1946 William Witney musical singing cowboy western starring Roy Rogers ("King of the Cowboys"), Trigger ("The smartest horse in the movies"), George 'Gabby' Hayes, Dale Evans, Bob Nolan, the Sons of the Pioneers, Ruby Dandridge (Dorothy Dandridge's mother!), and Carol Hughes. Note that Roy Rogers and Dale Evans married after filming this movie together!

Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss on a couple of crossfolds and minor fold and border wear. There were two round censor stamps in the left and right background area at the bottom of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, but the restorer left alone the two censor stamps (which are in the background and not very distracting at all), and any restorer could touch up those two areas without re-backing the poster.
