Wellman college university football sports romantic melodrama ("Is football a game or a racket?"; "Is college spirit the bunk?"; "The eye opener of all football yarns!"; about a college football coach who is so devoted to winning, that he gets a star player for his team, even though it breaks the rules, and he is so obsessed, that he doesn't even notice that player making a giant play for his pretty wife!) starring Dick Powell, Ann Dvorak, Pat O'Brien, Arthur Byron, Lyle Talbot, Ward Bond, and John Wayne (Bond and Wayne were both uncredited football players, although Wayne had one line!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this great scene card, and the last one was 7 years ago. That last example has now been reconsigned to us, so this is still only one of two examples we have ever auctioned! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The card is slightly darkened down the right side. There are creases and tiny tears in the top right blank corner, with a tear at bottom center and a long faint diagonal crease in the bottom left of the image. Otherwise, the card is in pretty good condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
