Pollard silent mistaken identity cowboy western crime short ("Dan listens to the tempter"; about a horse thief who takes in a baby boy that soon dies; but eighteen years later he meets a young man who is the same age as the baby who died, and he decides to trick the mother of the dead baby into thinking that the young man is her long lost son, and at first the young man goes along with it, but he can't keep on doing so) starring Margarita Fischer, and R. Henry Grey (in the title role as Dan). Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned two examples of this poster before, and the last one sold for $454! Also note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]. Condition: good to very good. The poster has a large tear along the lower vertical foldline that extends slightly diagonally into the art of the chair (see our image). There are some areas of slight discoloration, creases, tiny areas of paper loss and tiny tears in portions of the blank borders. The image area is otherwise in pretty nice condition, and after linenbacking with some proper restoration the very rare poster will display well! Learn More about condition grades
