Sabena: The Lebanon, the 1950s airplane aviation travel poster ("Belgian World Airlines") designed to encourage people to use Sabena (the national airline of Belgium) when visiting Lebanon. Note that this poster features art of a woman holding a jug. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had a tape stain in the center of the top border and some faint creases, smudges, and scuffs scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
