Secrets, the 1933 Frank Borzage California political romantic melodrama ("From the play 'Secrets' by Rudolf Besier and May Edginton"; "Scenario by Frances Marion"; set in the late 1800s, about the daughter of a rich New England banker who defies her father and elopes with a clerk in her father's office, and they move to California with no money, but they become quite rich, but then when the husband runs for governor, a secret from their past threatens to ruin him) starring Mary Pickford (in her final film), Leslie Howard, C. Aubrey Smith, Blanche Friderici, Doris Lloyd, Russell Simpson, and Ned Sparks

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this 1930s re-release title card (or anything else from this re-release). When the movie was first released, Mary Pickford was billed above the title and on this card, Howard has also been moved above the title (although smaller than Pickford's credit). We imagine this dates from the late 1930s, likely after Howard's great success in the U.S. with The Petrified Forest, which would have given United Artists a reason to re-release this movie. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
