Date Sold 9/15/2011Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Folded Radio Show Subway Poster (measures 45" x 60") (Learn More) Howard Stern Night Schtick, the 1982 radio poster ("Ho-weird Stern") promoting Howard Sterns 4-8 PM show on 66 WNBC. This poster features wacky art of Howard Stern and guests by Jack Davis. Stern worked for WNBC from 1981 to 1985 and the "Night Schtick" show was what many consider to be Stern's 'breakout' and it was the first time he was teamed with Robin Quivers! Given that there is a very similar poster for Don Imus that is also drawn by Jack Davis which is from 1982, we think it is very likely this poster is from 1982 as well. Note that it was during this time that Stern was a guest on "Late Night With David Letterman" which was his first national exposure. Llikely it was displayed on public walls (maybe in subway stations) in 1982, and torn down after use. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Jack Davis Condition: very good to fine. There are some creases and scuffs along the foldlines (typical of folded posters) but the poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well. Learn More about condition grades
