Note that the credit "Screenplay based on a story by Monckton Hoffe" sounds reminiscent of a W.C. Fields credit for himself under a wacky pseudonym, but actually, Monckton Hoffe is a real man, who was an Irish playwright, who worked in Hollywood mostly in the late 1920s through the early 1940s, but "The Lady Eve" is far and away his most famous credit! Note that the theater that used this poster taped the two pieces together before putting them on display (this is typical of many actual theater-used three-sheets). Condition: good to very good. The two sections of the poster were partially taped together from the back with some pieces of masking tape. There are many creases, several tears, and some areas of tiny paper loss along the foldlines that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded.
