Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). The poster also had some wear on the foldlines and pinholes and tears around the edges. It had some stains and surface paper loss in the bottom right, where there was once a tax stamp. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but at some point after it was backed, it acquired faint tiny brown dot stains scattered on the back of the linen, some of which slightly bled through to the front.
