My name is Miss Barrett. I am your Home Room teacher...'"; "The year's #1 best seller picks you up and never lets you down."; "The first mistake the pretty young teacher made was to get off the bus. The second was to walk into Coolidge High School for the first time. The third was to fall in love with it."; "Based on the novel by Bel Kaufman") starring Sandy Dennis (billed as "Academy Award winner Sandy Dennis"), Eileen Heckart, Ruth White, Jean Stapleton, Sorrell Booke, Roy Poole, and Patrick Bedford. Note that there is a large credit on the one-sheet poster that reads, "Sandy Dennis' makeup by Warner Bros. Cosmetics"! I wonder what that is all about! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Azcuy Important Added Info: Note that silkscreen (also known as screen printing) is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a poster. Only one color is printed at a time, so several screens must be used to produce a multicolored design, and it is a laborious technique because it is traditionally all done by hand. Because of the rich thickness of the layer of color on the paper and the resulting depth and brilliance achieved through silkscreen printing, this technique was preferred by many artists throughout many cultures and periods. Condition: good to very good. The poster has just a few scuff marks, typical of Cuban silkscreen posters and there is some spotty slight discoloration in the left edge.
