Vespa (the name means wasp in Italian) is an Italian brand of scooter manufactured by Piaggio from 1946 to the present. From their inception, Vespa scooters have been known for their painted, pressed steel unibody which combines a complete cowling for the engine, a flat floorboard and a prominent front fairing into a structural unit. The Vespa has evolved from a single model motor scooter to a full line of scooters today. In 1953, the movie "Roman Holiday" featured scenes of Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn riding on a Vespa, which gave the company worldwide exposure!

Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: fair. The poster appears to have been crushed while rolled and it has many creases scattered throughout and significant creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges (see our image). After proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
