We once auctioned a 1952 re-release Italian one-panel (with much the same image, but differences in the text and printer information), and that was 8 years ago, when it sold for $490! French posters from the first few years after World War II are among the most rare posters there are! Apparently, there were still major paper shortages in France, and few posters were printed, and most were recycled. This is an extremely rare French poster from 1948. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some folds, with tiny pinholes around the edges.
