An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Shame in the City, the 1960s sexploitation drug addict movie ("Every vice you ever thought of...and some you never knew existed!"; "The 'Street' Girls!"; "The Strip Joints!"; "The Dope Addicts!" "The 'Art' Models!"; "Released by William Mishkin"). Mishkin was a major distributor of sex-oriented exploitation & burlesque films in New York in the 1950s and 1960s. He was infamous for importing relatively tame European features and dressing them up for U.S. release with suggestive titles, sexy advertising campaigns, and added sex scenes. Note that this movie is not noted on any database, and it is a shame that we can find no details about this movie, because it not only covered the typical strippers, models, and "street girls" of other sexploitation movies of this time, but it also had a section about "dope addicts", and the dope addicts on the poster appear to be beatniks smoking pot!
