An Original Vintage Signed Autograph Card (measures 5 1/2" x 7") (Learn More) Sally Rand was a famous fan dancer and stripper, and who also appeared as an actress (sometimes playing herself) from the 1920s to the 1950s. Some of her movies include: The Sunset Murder Case, Braveheart, and The King of Kings. She passed away in 1979 at the age of 75. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Sally Rand! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. This item was given our to patrons who came to see her show in New Orleans, and on the back it says that you could meet her "between shows" and that she would "be delighted to autograph this photo for you". Also note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
