An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Presskit (measures 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; contains 13 supplements, and 6 stills) (Learn More) Robert Altman's 3 Women, the 1977 Robert Altman bizarre surrealistic relationship melodrama ("Sept 19 Thursday I have a new roomate. Of all people it is Pinky, the new girl at work. She's a strange person, but it's better than waiting around for some fat nurse to answer the notice."; "Sept 20, Friday TGIF!!! Work was pretty much the usual. Pinky was slow as usual, too. I took her to the shootin range at Dodge City. All the guys were there, and every one of them drunk as hell."; "Nov 30 What a pain in the neck she's gotten to be. I'd kick her out if I was smart. She's begun to drive me crazy. Nobody wants to come around with her here so we meet in other places or while she's at work.") starring Shelley Duvall, Sissy Spacek (as Pinky), Janice Rule, Robert Fortier, John Cromwell, and Ruth Nelson NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that included with the presskit is a letter from 20th Century Fox to movie reviewer Ken Williams (see below). Note that this is one of an excellent collection of 25 presskits we were consigned from the collection of Ken Williams, who was a movie reviewer for the Hamilton Journal News in Ohio! Mr. Williams was often invited to movie premieres and he would reciprocate by getting the studios excellent coverage of their movies in his newspaper! Many of the presskits that he was sent had many more supplements than are commonly seen, and it is quite likely that he was sent some supplemental material that was ONLY sent to special reviewers, and not to movie theaters. This paragraph is on each of the 25 presskits from this collection we are currently auctioning, and each clearly describes what items are included in it, so you can quickly see if there are additional items in this presskit that were not available elsewhere. Many of these 25 presskits are from top movies, and this is a rare opportunity to obtain a "movie reviewer's presskit" for those movies! Note that we have taken a picture of the cover of the presskit and eight of the stills (less than eight if the presskit has less than eight stills, of course). We have noted if the presskit contains any supplements, but we do not picture them. All of the presskits are sealed and ready to be sent, and we cannot answer any questions about the contents, especially about what any stills we may have not pictured show. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THIS AUCTION TO SEE HOW MANY STILLS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS PRESSKIT, BECAUSE WE NEVER PICTURE MORE THAN EIGHT OF THEM (and we pretty much picked eight stills at random). Condition: very good. Many of the presskits we are auctioning this week were carefully stored away for many years, and the stills are in really excellent condition. Sometimes the folder that contains the stills has some minor wear on it, and you should be able to see that in our super-sized image. Learn More about condition grades
