Original Vintage Theatrical Double-Bill Movie Pressbook (measures 11" x 17"; 12 pages) (Learn More) the 1958 double-bill of She Demons, the 1958 Richard E. Cunha Nazi horror thriller ("RE-CREATED"; "Half Beast"; "Half Woman") starring Irish McCalla, Tod Griffin, Victor Sen Yung, and Rudolph Anders AND Giant From the Unknown, the 1958 Richard E. Cunha science fiction (sci-fi) horror thriller ("It Came From Another World"; "The creeping terror that rose from the depths of the unknown!") starring Edward Kemmer, Sally Fraser, Buddy Baer, Morris Ankrum, Bob Steele, and Joline Brand. Note that it was common, with low budget movies like these, for the studio to prepare a special "double-bill" pressbook, so that theaters could have newspaper ads for when they showed the two movies together, but they did not necessarily create actual "double-bill" posters (the theaters were sent the posters from each movie separately). Important Added Info: Note that this pressbook is part of an amazing collection of 456 different horror/sci-fi pressbooks (our items #5387 through #5842)! The collector who assembled this collection did so over a span of several decades, and to duplicate it would surely take at least that long, if one started today. But on October 30th, every one of these pressbooks will go to a new owner, as all are being sold with NO reserve. Note that this collection spans the years from 1950 to 1972, and just about every single 1950s and 1960s horror/sci-fi movie is represented here. Also note that we have listed them in DATE order (first by year, and then alphabetically within years). This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire rare pressbooks that almost never are offered for sale! Condition: very good. Note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Since pressbooks were INTENDED to be cut up (the theater owners would cut out the newspaper ads to run in their local papers). It is very difficult to find a pressbook that has NOT been cut, and that ads greatly to their value! 2" jagged tear and tape stain in the upper center edge of the front cover as well as a few 2" and smaller tears around the edges of some of the inside pages of the pressbook (mostly along the bottom edges); cover is cleanly separated and there are tape stains in the bottom 4" of the spine; folded in half at one time; minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the pressbook (more so along the spine) Learn More about condition grades
