An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Mexican Movie Poster (measures 26 1/2" x 35 3/4" [67 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Mis Tres Viudas Alegres (literally translates to "My Three Cheerful Widows"), the 1953 Fernando Cortes Mexican musical comedy (about a scientist who dies and his current and ex-wives try to find the scientist's son while spies tries to find a secret explosive formula) starring Amalia Aguilar, Lilia del Valle, Silvia Pinal, Adalberto Martinez 'Resortes', Hector Godoy, and Gloria De Cordoba. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 26 1/2" x 35 3/4" [67 x 91 cm]. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and pretty minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame. It appears that the blank borders of the poster were slightly trimmed, either before or after the poster was backed, so bear this in mind before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
