Artist: Howard Terpning Important Added Info: Note that the poster has a 1970 copyright date at the bottom, but has been stamped "R74" on the back. It seems likely that there were 1970 posters left over and that they were re-used for the 1974 re-release, although it is possible that they simply re-printed the 1970 posters in 1974, and did not bother to change the date at the bottom of the poster. Please do not bid unless you can accept this uncertainty as to whether this poster is from 1970 or 1974! Note that this poster has been professionally mounted to an acid-free paper backing, but it is not "paperbacked" in the modern sense, because there is no Japanese rice paper between the poster and the backing. This was done to keep the poster safe and make it really flat for framing, but the poster can still be rolled and sent in a tube, and the backing is easily reversible by any restorer, if the new owner chooses (and of course, the poster can be immediately framed!). Condition: very good. Prior to being backed on the paper, the poster had minor wear on the foldlines and no restoration was performed. Learn More about condition grades
