Greville English newspaper reporter journalism crime thriller ("Screenplay by Richard Llewellyn, based on his stage play"; about a London crime boss who kills those who get in his way, but then a brave beautiful female American newspaper reporter exposes him) starring Carole Landis (in her final movie role), Joseph Calleia, Derek Farr, Stanley Holloway, Nigel Patrick, and Carol van Derman. Note that Landis purportedly committed suicide just before this film was released. She was 31 years old, and had just ended an affair with Rex Harrison.
