An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Rough Riders, the 1927 Victor Fleming silent Spanish-American War Cuba historical biographical military action adventure thriller ("A Victor Fleming Production"; "'You can't call a man a coward - if he dies trying!'"; "Based on the story by Hermann Hagedorn"; about the equestrian military unit organized by future U.S. President Teddy Roosevelt and its adventures in Cuba during the Spanish-American War of 1898) starring Noah Beery Sr., Charles Farrell, George Bancroft, Charles Emmett Mack, Mary Astor, and Frank Hopper (as Theodore Roosevelt). Note that co-star Charles Emmett Mack had incredibly bad luck in being killed in a car crash the day after this movie had its premiere! Bizarrely, he had only appeared in eleven movies prior to this one, and almost every one (including this one), his character was killed during the movie! Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving complete copies are thought to exist.

Condition: very good. There were small tears and small paper loss in the right of the top border, and someone put a piece of paper tape on the back of that area. There are also small pieces of paper tape on the back of the left corners, put there for reinforcement. Other than the above, the card is in excellent condition!
