An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 40") (Learn More) The Fantastic Four, the 1994 Oley Sassone comic book super hero action thriller ("Part muscle. Part elastic. Part fire. Part invisible. Together, it's clobberin' time!"; "Prepare for the fantastic"; "From the pages of the world's greatest comic book fantasy..."; produced by Roger Corman) starring Alex Hyde-White, Jay Underwood, Rebecca Staab, Michael Bailey Smith, Ian Trigger, Joseph Culy, and George Gaynes. Note that this movie was never officially released to theaters and few examples of this poster were made (a collector tells us that the posters were created for test screenings). It has been said that this movie was never intended to be released, and it was made only because the studio that owned the rights would have lost them if it did not begin production by a certain date. We have also heard that in the past few of years this movie has been made available for download illegally on the Internet, and we have also heard that it has been for sale at science fiction (sci-fi) and comic book shows, but we don't believe that it has been released in any legal fashion. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing. After 1980, it quickly became standard for posters to never be folded, and were shipped to theaters rolled in tubes. But this made it far more likely for posters to pick up minor (or major) defects, and it can be difficult to find an unfolded poster from the 1980s in excellent condition. Condition: very good to fine. The poster has tiny crease marks down the bottom of the right border. It has a few faint creases throughout the poster (caused by rolling and unrolling).
