An Autographed Color 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) Ella Raines was an actress from the 1940s to the 1950s. She had unusual very light green eyes that made her stand out, but also made her difficult to photograph! She had rapid success due to her distinctively different look, and early publicity referred to her as "one of Hollywood's rapidly rising young personalities" and that she "started out on top" and that "she has been in demand to such extent that of the seven pictures she made, three have been at outside studios"! Some of her movies include: Brute Force, Hail the Conquering Hero, Phantom Lady, The Suspect, and Impact. She passed away in 1988 at the age of 67. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Ella Raines! The consignor of this autographed item (and a large number of other signed items in this auction) is a longtime autograph collector who does not have a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for this item, but he feels certain it is genuine. Many of the items he has consigned were purchased from an autograph store that was going out of business when the owner retired, and many of the items he has consigned to this set of auctions come from this purchase.
