Zanuck; based on the novel "by Eric Knight"; a wild story of a daughter of an English general who joins the WAAF, which was the English version of the WACs; she meets a soldier on leave, and had a torrid affair with him, but then learns he is a deserter; he tries to make things right and is badly wounded heroically saving a woman and her child, and she meets with him in the hospital while he is at Death's door) starring Tyrone Power Jr., Joan Fontaine, Thomas Mitchell, Nigel Bruce, Gladys Cooper, Philip Merivale, Sara Allgood, Alexander Knox, Henry Stephenson, Jill Esmond, and Arthur Shields NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Georges Dastor Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had a 1" circular area of paper loss at the crossfold that fell in the lower center of the poster, but fortunately it was solely in the solid green background area. There was tiny paper loss at other crossfolds and some creases, scuffs, and small tears on parts of some foldlines and some smudges and scuffs scattered in the image.
