An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Skin Deep, the 1929 Ray Enright romantic love triangle mistaken identity revenge thriller (based on the story 'Lucky Damage' by Marc Edmund Jones; a really complicated story of a gangster who falls in love with a chorus girl, and plans on retiring after giving all his ill-gotten gains to the district attorney, but the chorus girl doesn't like that, so she takes up with his rival and gets him put in jail, and then she tricks him into breaking out of jail to kill the DA, thinking the district attorney double crossed him, but he gets injured in the breakout, and he luckily meets a plastic surgeon who gives him a new face, and he falls in love with the surgeon's daughter, and they go off to start a new life) starring Monte Blue, Davey Lee, Betty Compson, Alice Day, John Davidson, and John Bowers. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"! Learn More about condition grades
