An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81" [104 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) Million Dollar Baby, the 1934 Joseph Santley vaudeville stage acting family relationship cross dressing screwball comedy ("A new adventure story"; "Hollywood acclaimed her a new Shirley Temple but-"; "Another Shirley Temple said Hollywood"; "Story and screen play by Joseph Santley"; about a couple who see a contest for a "new Shirley Temple", but they only have a young son, so they curl his hair and pass him off as their daughter!) starring Ray Walker, Arline Judge, Jimmy Fay, George E. Stone, Willard Robertson, and Ralf Harolde. Note that to make this movie work, they needed to cast a young boy who had an androgynous look, because he needed to be a boy who could convincingly pass for a girl, and they found young Jimmy Faye. But a part like this was likely not a real career builder, and after a small role the following year in "Princess O'Hara", he permanently retired from show business!
