The Cardboard Lover, the 1928 Robert Z. Leonard silent Monte Carlo tennis sports romantic love triangle comedy melodrama (from the play by Jacques Deval; about a young American woman who visits Monte Carlo, and a tennis champion, whose girlfriend has been cheating on him, hires her to pretend to be his lover to make his girlfriend jealous, but she falls in love with him, and wants to make their pretend romance a reality!) starring Marion Davies, Jetta Goudal, Nils Asther, Andres de Segurola, and Tenen Holtz. Note that an alternate title for this movie was "Her Cardboard Lover". In 1942, MGM remade the movie with Norma Shearer and Robert Taylor, and that remake was titled "Her Cardboard Lover"

Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two single 8x10 stills from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. The card has tack holes, smudges, and small stains around the edges, with pencil writing in the center of the top border and some stains in the bottom caption area. There are a very few tiny stains scattered in the image, but they are not very distracting or noticeable. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
