What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor fold and border wear. It had an NSS number stamped diagonally on the back of the top right corner that bled through to the front in the yellow background area. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but the restorer left alone the NSS number in the top right (any restorer could paint over that area without re-backing the poster, but bear this in mind before bidding on this poster).
