A 1954 Realart Re-Release Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Night Key, the 1937 Lloyd Corrigan horror crime murder thriller ("Original story by William Pierce"; about a man who invents a new kind of burglar alarm, and crooks kidnap him so that they can force him to help them rob places protected by his alarms) starring Boris Karloff (billed as "Karloff"), Warren Hull (billed as "J. Warren Hull"), Jean Rogers, Alan Baxter, Hobart Cavanaugh, Samuel Hinds, David Oliver, Ward Bond, Frank Reicher, Edwin Maxwell, and Henry Brandon NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this 1954 re-release half-sheet (and only one example of the first release half-sheet), and the last one was 16 years ago! Also note that this poster has never been machine folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were machine folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT machine folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has writing on back at upper left that bled through to the front, and it appears that someone attempted to partially erase that area in blank paper (see our image). There is some slight discoloration in that corner, and there is a tiny patch of slight discoloration above the "H" in "DEATH" at top. There is a tiny tear at lower right. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well! Learn More about condition grades
