An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Lorraine of the Lions, the 1925 Edward Sedgwick silent adventure thriller melodrama ("The amazing dramatic spectacle"; from the story by Isadore Bernstein; about a girl stranded on an island and raised by animals; she is eventually rescued, along with her friend, an ape, and reintroduced to society) starring Norman Kerry, Patsy Ruth Miller (in the title role as the adult Lorraine), Fred Humes (as the adult ape Bimi!), Doreen Turner (in the title role as the young Lorraine), Harry Todd, and Walter Brennan (uncredited in his second movie role!). Note that Fred Humes also played a gorilla in 1928's Circus Rookies, and did so in a total of five movies between 1925 and 1944. We don't know if he owned an ape suit or borrowed one from the several other actors who specialized in ape roles! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a different scene card from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There are five small areas of paper loss in the left blank border (three of them were caused by tiny punch holes from a hole puncher. There is pencil writing in the right of the top blank border, with pinholes in each corner and some faint smudges around the edges.
