An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Mexican Movie Poster (measures 26 3/4" x 37" [68 x 94 cm]) (Learn More) El Gato sin Botas (literally translates to "The Cat Without Boots"), the 1957 Fernando Cortes Mexican romantic fantasy comedy starring Tin-Tan, Martha Valdes, Nono Arsu, Wolf Rubinsky, and Marcelo Chavez. Note that the title seems to literally translate to "The Cat Without Boots", and it seems to be some sort of sexy take-off on the classic "Puss in Boots" fairy tale, and the poster features great wild cartoonish art of a male and female feline cat with human faces, and both wearing boots! UPDATED 08/24/2020: Note that the wrong date was originally used in the Auction Title. This poster is from the 1957 first release of this film. Condition: good to very good. The poster has darkened around the edges and it is fragile. It has 4" of separation at the left end of the middle horizontal fold and separation and tiny paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds. It has 2" of separation at the top and bottom of the vertical fold. It absolutely needs to be linenbacked, but once it is, it will display wonderfully and require virtually no paint restoration.
