The Spirit of '17, the 1918 William Desmond Taylor (billed as "William D. Taylor") silent World War I (WWI) Home Front German spy espionage romantic melodrama (from the story "by Judge Willis Brown"; about a young man who is too young to serve in World War I, but he manages to capture two German spies, which wins him the love of the girl of his dreams) starring Jack Pickford, Clarence Geldart, Edythe Chapman, L.N. Wells, Charles Arling, and Virginia Ware. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that movie paper from this film is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned one (different) lobby card for this title and NO other movie paper item from it until we were consigned these three scene cards!

Condition: very good. The cards have some tiny pinholes around the edges as well as a few minor edge defects but overall they are in pretty nice condition, especially given their age!
