An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20" x 28 1/2") (Learn More) The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean, the 1972 John Huston outlaw cowboy western biography ("If this story ain't true... it shoulda been."; "All he wanted was law and order... if he had to kill every last man to get it!"; "Original Screenplay by John Milius"; about the legendary outlaw Roy Bean, who declared himself a judge and thereby was able to legally rob the citizens) starring Paul Newman (in the title role as Judge Roy Bean), with "Guest Stars" Jacqueline Bisset, Tab Hunter, John Huston (as Grizzly Adams), Stacy Keach, Roddy McDowall, Anthony Perkins, Victoria Principal, Anthony Zerbe, and Ava Gardner ("as Lily Langtry"). Note that this movie has VERY unusual billing, where all of the lead actors were billed as "Guest Stars", with the exception of star Paul Newman! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. The poster was folded like a U.S. one-sheet, but with five horizontal foldlines, and there are creases and scuff marks along parts of several foldlines with fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above (but any restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
