Louisiana, the 1947 Phil Karlson biographical musician politics melodrama ("'You Are my Sunshine'"; "'There's a New Moon Over My Shoulder'"; "'Nobody's Darling but Mine'"; "'It Makes No Difference Now'") starring Governor Jimmie Davis (as himself; the amazing singer songwriter who surprisingly served two terms as Governor of Louisiana while continuing to make movies during that time; he wrote "You Are My Sunshine", and passed away in 2001 at the age of 101!), Margaret Lindsay, John Gallaudet, Freddie Stewart, Ralph Freeto, Dottye Brown, and "The Sunshine Serenaders"

Important Added Info: SUPER IMPORTANT! THOUGH ONLY EIGHT OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED, THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 23 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE (but realize that on some of these lots with 9 or more stills there may be a few duplicates, mostly on post-1960 lots)! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made only a small effort to find the best stills in these lots, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing eight of the stills.

Condition: good to very good. The majority of the stills have uneven discoloration caused by snipe glue on the back at center.
